You are the manager of a restaurant and the management has asked you to plan and implement a half day promotional display stand for your restaurant to market the upcoming new menu. You have to assume the name of your restaurant and design the menu including at least the following:
Four entrees (at least one vegetarian option)
Three salads (at least one vegetarian option)
Six main courses (at least two vegetarian option)
Three Desserts
as part of the assignment. You will have a team of 3 other staff to assist you in this project (the 3 other staff will be students you have been grouped with chosen by the trainer). You must drive and motivate your team to perform certain tasks for you in the planning and implementation of the event on the day. To prepare for this you must prepare the following documents:
An operational plan for the event including the following details:
Copy of the designed menu
Complete event plan template
A breakdown of the delegation of tasks for each staff member with dates and times and set deadlines for each planning task to be complete.
List of dates and times for team meetings during the planning of the event
A breakdown of responsibilities each staff member will be responsible for on the day of the event.
A list of all the resources you require for the display stand e.g. Flyers, decorations, tables, chairs, equipment food, beverages and audio-visual devices
You will be observed leading and managing your team
