You have recently received a number of complaints from the operations department regarding bus body repairs that have not been carried out to the standard required by the company and that the image of the company is being affected by the poor standard of body vehicle maintenance. Upon investigation, you discover that the problem is caused by one of the vehicle body builders. Sam Tshabalala, whose work is very untidy and unfinished, in other words, his work performance in poor. You realise that you need to take action to address the problem. What approach you will use to address the problem of Sam's poor work performance AND fully explain how you will apply this process? 2 3 5 6 Situation/Evidence A witness is called in to a hearing, gives oral evidence and is cross examined. The witness testifies that the security guard told him that he had seen the accused at the scene of the accident. The witness identifies the spanner that was used in the alleged assault and answers questions put to him by the shop steward. The monthly report containing all the errors made by the accused, is submitted as evidence by the prosecuting official. No witness examination of the report takes place. The witness submits a set of photographs of the accident scene, and the shop steward claims that they were not taken at the accident scene. The prosecuting official produces a video of the driver selling diesel to a third party. and the official who made the video is called in to testify as to how and when the video was made. The chairperson of the hearing instructs the hearing that the members should visit the scene of the accident, where the prosecuting official points out certain factors to the chairperson, who makes a note of these.
