You are to choose a mathematician of your choice and write a short (one-page) report that gives a brief overview of the mathematician's life (when and where he/she lived) and the major mathematical contributions made by the mathematician. If he/she proved an important theorem or fact, then that should be in the report. Also, add any facts of interest so that a non-mathematician will find the report interesting.

This report is due by Monday, November 28th, by midnight. You may send the report directly in email, or as an attachment to email.
