You are to plan for the delivery of 15-20 minute presentation on a topic of your choice, including presentation aids and feedback documents.

Carefully read and analyse the instructions below.

1.Choose a topic you are comfortable with - check with your Trainer to ensure its appropriateness

2.Identify your intended audience for your presentation ensuring you consider the following:

What is the current skill level of the participants in relation to my topic?

What are their language, literacy and numeracy levels likely to be at?

What industry are they working in?

What is their motivation for being at my presentation?

any of them have special needs (e.g. disabilities, are they from non-English speaking backgrounds, do they have physical limitations?).

3.Create schedule/session plan for your delivery, reviewing the presentation requirements of Task 4. At a minimum identifying 5 minute intervals.

4.Create presentation aids such as a PowerPoint and/or handouts.

5.Create feedback form for your participants with a minimum of ten (10) questions, ensure you include both open and closed/rating questions.

Create self-reflection form with a minimum of five (5) questions. You will use this later when delivering your presentation..
