You are vacationing on a mythical island resort when you decide to take a walk and get lost in the woods. After a long while you come to a fork in the path. You're certain that one direction leads back to the resort, but you don't know which one. You notice a sign so faded that you can only make out the four letters $"...$gers." You realize that this sign is warning about a tigers' den down one of the paths in the fork.

You're relieved to see one of the locals approaching. You know that the permanent residents of the island are very extreme in a way. Each person either always tells the truth or always lies, with no exceptions. So the entire population can be broken into two groups: the "Truth Group" and the "Liars Group." You can tell this person is not a tourist, but you don't know to which group, Truth or Liars, this local belongs.

Your job is to think of one question you can ask this local resident so that you will know which way to go to get back to the resort and avoid the tigers. What question will you ask? How will you use the answer to find your way to the resort?
