If you are familiar with another computerised accounting package may discuss this instead of MYOB in your report.
In a short report you must first briefly describe the organisation. Your description may include industry, number of employees, number and type of accounting transactions. You must then include information on the steps to be taken prior to inputting the data into the computerised system and how you would go about implementing it in new system.
Using internet research and your learning resources you must demonstrate that you have the knowledge to:
- set up an organisation's chart of accounts by modifying an established integrated financial software system
- interpret and apply organisational policies and procedures
- implement an integrated accounting system ensuring integrity of the data
- process transactions, generate reports and maintain the integrated system
Your short written report should include references as well as an introduction, body and a conclusion.
