You have been hired by the Santosh, the owner of a small chain of Independent coffee shops ("Might-T-Coffee") to provide guidance for improvement of their "Overall Quality". They have been in business for 10 years and are knowledgeable about business dealings and have business experience but no specific quality training or experience. After an initial meeting with the OWNER you discover that they have identified some measures of quality but need advice on making them better. They have some ideas. 1) They have collected the following data: a. From reward program subscribers - feedback forms with reports of good and bad experiences in the shop as the users report them. b. Records of disposed/wasted orders that were made in error at the various shops c. Reports that the owner has generated when they did their regular weekly visits to each shop (there are 10 shops and they visit each one, every week always on the same day (e.g. Monday AM at Shop A, Monday PM at Shop B, etc.) 2) Currently Santosh does the following, (with the years results in the separate, attached table) a. Every week, the store with the lowest wasted orders gets a bonus of $20 per employee. (Marked "Bonus" in the table) b. The store with the worst feedback scores gets DOUBLE the inspections per week until it isn't the worst for feedback. Other stores keep their current inspection schedule. (Marked "INSPECT" in the table)
NEED a business letter (use any standard format) to the owner UPTO 3pages explaining HOW SANTOSH could CHANGE their management practices to INCORPORATE some of Deming's 14 points for management. You might refer to the lessons of the Red-Bead experiment
