You have been tasked by a senior attorney at your law firm to create an Interoffice Memo. After the senior attorney reads your work-product, he/she will determine the course of action to be used on behalf of the firm's client. Therefore, an interoffice memorandum of law is required based on the factual scenario described below:

Jeff (your client) and David had an argument over the result of a football game between the Cowboys and the Colts. Jeff' s favorite team, the Cowboys, won the contest, but David insists that the Cowboys were lucky. David continued with his rant, stating that the referees interfered with the outcome of this game, and all Cowboy fans are worthless losers. Jeff and David were face-to-face and invading each other's personal zone during this heated exchange. Jeff becomes outraged and punches David in the face. As a result, David suffers a broken nose and several facial lacerations. David's medical bills total more than $15,000, and he has been unable to work for three weeks. Jeff, on the other hand, suffered a broken hand, and his medical bills total approximately $2500. Jeff cannot work for at least 3 months since he is a carpenter, and he requires the use of both hands.

Remember, Jeff is your client. Samples and instructions are recommended on what should be included in an interoffice memorandum of law.
