You have been tasked to develop a communication plan for a complex enterprise-wide reorganization. Currently there are eight facilities in the Mountain View Health System (MVHS). Each facility has an onsite HIM director, manager, and supervisor(s) who manage between approximately 40-80 employees at each facility. Employees cover the HIM functions around the clock. Onsite functions include an electronic document management system (EDMS) and release of information, clinical record analysis and quality control, medical coding, data analytics and research, EHR support, information security and privacy, revenue integrity, and compliance. The medical coding and data analytics staff are remote. A senior HIM vice president oversees the HIM directors and functions at the eight facilities
