Senior members of staff being rude, for example, not greeting them when they pass in the corridor. Having nowhere to sit during their breaks and no way of making hot drinks. Hot food being banned on the premises. People being told off in front of colleagues for small errors such as wearing the wrong shoes. Ideas put forward by the team are ignored by senior management. There is no support for continuing professional development so staff feel that their career development is not being supported. They are made to feel bad for booking annual leave or for taking sick leave. After hearing this, you are not happy that this workplace does not treat all colleagues with dignity and respect as you take working ethically very seriously.
