: You have met with your boss trying to explain horizontal and vertical (Job 3) analysis. You went to the meeting without any examples hoping your boss would understand (and you didn't prioritize your time to prepare). But he/she is a visual person and is unhappy that you didn't take his/her learning style into consideration. Your meeting definitely didn't go well and he/she is going to give you one more chance. So this time you have to make sure your boss understands or there may not be another meeting with your boss. So do your absolute best and make sure to follow your boss's minimum guidelines below:

Following are the parameters for you to WOW your boss.

1. You must use Excel, Word and/or PowerPoint. You can use more than one if needed.

2. You must outline the steps to complete the analysis.

3. You must include examples of the analysis.

4. You must also identify positive and negative trends in your examples.

5. Explain to your boss how he/she could improve the trends.

6. You can use the same statement examples for both Job 2 & Job 3 requirements.

7. Don't forget to identify any sources you may use and remember your boss values integrity and accountability and is a visual learner.
