$($a$)$ It contains error codes from previous exectuions of the program.

$($b$)$ It contains the arguments inputted at the command line starting at args $0.$

$($c$)$ It contains the name of the program in args$[0]$ and then the arguments inputted in the command line.

$($d$)$ At the beginning of program execution, there are no instances of the class. Therefore, String $[]$ args is necessary.
