The STHE contains 86 tubes, 1 in Outer Diameter (OD)16 BWG (British Wire Gauge) stainless steel tubes arranged in staggered pitch with longitudinal and transverse pitches of SL=ST=11/4 in.The shell has inner diameter of 15 in and outer diameter of 16 in. Assume surface temperature (Ts) at the outer surface of inner tube as 1150C. The milk side fouling coefficient is 0.0005 m2.0C/W.
