You made a strong point about patients possibly not being treated well due to medical offices wanting to save on costs. It is crazy how costs can affect so many: the insurance companies, providers, patients, and so forth. I personally think that there should be an across-the-board fee for all services, treatments, and medical supplies. I was watching a documentary a while back and I wish I remembered the name but I was surprised to learn that doctors can set their own prices. Apparently, "RUC is directly overpricing services in the U.S. when compared with other countries, American procedures consistently rank as the most expensive in the world" (Wasik, 2013). America being the most expensive in terms of healthcare is not a surprise especially knowing that doctors have a huge say in costs.Explain
