"To put it simply, reflective essays constitute a critical examination of a life experience [in our case, the academic experience of taking this class] ... A great way to do this is to pick out some reflection questions which will help you think deeper about the impact and lasting effects of your [academic] experience".*

Reflection Questions (These are guiding questions to help you develop your ideas. Therefore, they do not have to be included in the essay).

• What are your thoughts on the topics discussed in this course? (Consider the many subjects we talked about during the whole semester).
• What were the three most useful or exciting concepts you have learned during the semester? Why? (Provide detailed explanation).
• Have you been able to apply them in your current workplace (if applicable)?
• Have they helped you understand a previous job experience or incident that was unclear to you until now?
• What specific skills or perspectives did you acquire after learning about them?
• If you had to focus more profoundly on studying one of these topics, which one would you choose, and why?
• In what ways was this course a valuable learning experience?

Structure:

• In the opening sentence, explain what the essay is about and what the reader should expect before going further.
