you need to explain the laws to our client not just cut and paste them. Our client is coming to us to learn how to use the Lemon laws to help her in with her new car problems. Make sure to tell her step by step how to use the law and what she must do in order to be eligible for the laws protections. In other words, has she triggered the laws protections?

Try to find a California case that is similar to our facts to cite and share with our client as well.

I want to remind you when preparing the lemon law project to be sure to fully and thoroughly set forth the law and to explain it to our client.

The format should be: QUESTIONS PRESENTED . This would be at the beginning where you set forth each and every legal questions our client Cory presents. Next you will have the DISCUSSION. This section is where you set out all the laws in full and the cases that you find to help our client, and you also explain to our client what all the laws and cases mean as they pertain to our client's situation, how they impact this scenario. Finally you have the third section of your Memorandum it is called: CONCLUSION . In this final section of your memorandum you should explain what you believe our client's outcome will be as based upon the legal theories and the cases you have found. Tell our client if you believe they are likely or unlikely to prevail in solving their legal problem and state why you conclude what you conclude.
