You recruit 30 people from the NIH to take part in a study comparing Band-Aid brand band-aids to CVS brand band-aids. You think the CVS brand will not stick on the skin as long as the Band-aid brand. For each person, you use a coin to decide if their right leg gets the Band-Aid brand (heads) or the CVS brand (tails). The left leg gets the other brand - so each person has one of each brand of band-aids, one on each leg. You tell the subjects to dress and shower as usual and record how many days each band-aid remains on their skin. For each person, you calculate the: difference as = Ban-Aid brand - CVS brand.

ASSUME WE COLLECTED THE FOLLOWING DATAMean difference = 2.6 days with a Standard deviation of the differences = 0.6 daysSample number of differences = 30

Test whether the Band-Aid brand stayed on the skin longer than the CVS brand for students at the NIH. Assume data meet the assumption of normality and use =0.05

a) State the question (ID the population) 6pts

b) State your null and alternative hypotheses (define symbols)

c) Analyze your data

All the online apps I usually use are currently unavailable so you will need to calculate this one by hand. Use the equation Assume the one tail critical value is 1.70 and the two tail critical value is =2.05

. e) Provide a statement of conclusion that includes the statistical evidence and makes inference back to the population. Here you will either report p<0.05 or p>0.05.
