You will be writing a short paper (3-4 pages, details below) reporting on your research related to our course (see examples below).

The paper should focus on how a particular business implements or accomplishes some aspect of the money and financial process covered by this course.

Examples:

Any investment bank, stockbrokerage, mutual fund company, etc.: You could write about how the founders financed the beginnings of the company and, if it went public, its initial public offering (IPO). You can also write about how it makes money doing what it does -- this part would depend on what type of organization it is. An investment bank would be involved in initial public offerings (IPOs) and issuing bonds for corporations, for instance. Possibilities include (but are not limited to): Robinhood
