You will need to take a "field trip" to your local grocery store (ie Publix, Kroger, etc) or super store (ie Super Wal-Mart, Super Target, etc). Select three product categories of interest to you. It could be anything, just make sure they are DIVERSE types of products (ie laundry detergent, ice cream and cereal). For each product category, visit that area of the store. Write down a list of the first three items that grabbed your attention first. Then, identify what it was that attracted you to the product or brand (brand, cobrand, package design). (Take pictures of each item to include in your presentation) For each of the three products that you choose, identify which one you are most likely to buy based on the first LOOK alone. Explain what you liked about its appearance and why. Now, pick up each of the three products and study the package design and any information you can find about the products. Consider things like pricing, features, etc. Now, which product are you most likely to buy? Explain why. IF it was different from your first look choice, explain what changed your mind.
