Objective:

The objective of this assignment is for you to reflect on your personal history with conflict, how your past has influenced your current attitudes and views toward conflict, and how you might approach conflict resolution in a positive way from this point forward.

Specific Requirements:

  • Set the context for significant conflicts/experiences that have shaped your conflict story. Explain how situational factors influenced your own interpretation of events, which resulted in your view toward conflict being molded.
  • Introduce us to charactersin your conflict story. Describe cultural, personality, or other societal influences on these individuals and the ways in which they approach conflict.
  • Describe the events in your conflict story. Describe how the sequence of events shaped turning points in your views toward conflict.
  • Offer insight on the values and moral claims at play in the conflict situations. Explain how these shaped the meanings attached to the characters and events.
  • Include a section on how you might approach conflict resolution in a positive way from this point forward.
  • Provide a CLOSING that summarizes your major conclusions and offers an effective wrap-up.
