You work as a researcher in a consulting firm, collecting data on changes to the economy and populations in a city. You take this basic data and produce a monthly report for senior management. You have done this same job for five years and consider it to be very straight-forward. Today your manager asks you to produce a report showing not just the basic monthly data, but to report WHY there are changes over the past two years. Your manager also wants you to offer predictions and forecasts of where the trends are heading over the next 5 years, something your company has never done, but something you know how to do from your classes at UCW. But your boss wants even more. He want you to provide some "out of the box thinking" about the future trends, and ideas of how the research can be even more useful.
