Young Manufacturing is a manufacturer of bottle washing and pasteurizing equipment to the brewing industry. The firm is based in Waukesha, Wisconsin. On January 5, 20X1, Young began aggressively expanding its remote sales force. This included hiring Venetia in Ohio to sell to the growing number of micro brewers in that state. Venetia was driving to a sales call when she was injured in an auto accident. She required hospitalization and rehabilitation before being able to return to work. Venetia chose to file workers compensation benefits under the Ohio statute. Young is the named insured under a Workers Compensation and Employers Liability Insurance Policy (WC &EL) with an effective date of January 1, 20X1. At inception, Wisconsin was the only state listed in Item 3.A of the Information Page of Youngs policy. Youngs insurer is licensed in all states except those with monopolistic state funds. Item 3.C on the Information Page of Youngs policy reads: All states except those listed in Item 3.A and ND, OH, WA and WY. Young did not notify its insurer that it had begun hiring remote sales representatives in Ohio until Venetia had his accident on January 10, 20X1. Will Youngs WC & EL policy provide coverage for Venetias injuries? Please explain your answer.
