You will first (1) research the US federal or state tax code. (Don't read the actual code on the IRS website - stick to journal articles and media reports)

Second (2) in your reading, identify 4 areas of the tax code (or how/what we pay in taxes) which seems outdated, silly, confusing, offensive, or otherwise intolerable.

Third (3) you will then suggest 4 solutions to the four tax issues you find. You should state the problem and your solutions, and these responses will be TYPED (standard formatting).

I expect something like 1-2 pa ragraphs outlining the issue and justifying your solution. The more creative, thoughtful, and concise your solution to each of the tax problems, the higher the grade.
