Your company has received two RFPs (Request For Proposals) from two different companies. RFPs are submitted to companies when an organization wants to utilize some service. Think of it as a companys way of finding the best cost solution. Both RFPs are asking IT firms to supply a network topology that fits certain criteria. Your task is to design a topology that is within the budget of the requesting company, takes into consideration their current setup and gives them flexibility for future growth. You are in charge of physical placement of the networking devices based on the provided floorplans. The actual report is being written by your partner, but you will need to provide an explanation of why a device or type of transmission medium was used. Meaning, what you supply to your partner needs to be submitted in a professional manner, realistic and includes references of where you got your information (i.e. pricing guides, device specification docs, etc.)
