Your friends are setting up an aquarium. The aquarium is made of glass. It has the shape of a cube, where each side has a length of 0.3 m. The top of the aquarium is covered with heat insulating Styrofoam such that only heat transfer through 5 glass sides with a heat transfer coefficient of 2 Watt/(m2 K) can be considered. The water in the aquarium must be kept at a constant temperature of 28 Centigrade while the aquarium is placed in a cold room with 15 Centigrade. The aquarium also requires a filter. Water leaves the aquarium with a rate of 20 liters/hour it passes through the filter and it is returned to the aquarium. Since the filter is outside of the aquarium, the filtered water will be returned to the aquarium with a temperature of 20oC. A heater within the aquarium is used to keep the aquarium at the desired 28 Centigrade.
Calculate the power needed for the operation of the heater.
(Energy produced or consumed by fish should not be considered)
