Your group is hired by a department store to provide synchronization for a new revolving door they plan on installing. Your job is to keep people flowing in both directions through the door. Here are the constraints: 1. The door has four (4) compartments. Each compartment can hold, at most, one (1) person. The door only revolves in one direction. 2. People wait in line on either side of the door until an empty compartment is available. A person must exit from a compartment before the next person can enter it. 3. When your program starts, assume that the door is completely empty and that open compartments are facing the inside and outside. Also, assume that no one is waiting in line. 4. When people are waiting inside and outside, one person from each direction should move through the door at each turn. Each person has the following attributes: arrival, entry, and shopping time. a. arrival: the timestamp of the customers arrival to store b. entry: the timestamp of when the customer reaches inside the store c. shopping: the total time customer spends in the store Provide a simulation to properly synchronize customers arrival and departure of at least 50 customers. The simulation should stop when all customers exit the store and should ensure mutual exclusion, progress, and bounded wait. On simulation, termination provides a report showing all customers with their attributes along with the corresponding response, waiting, and turnaround time. The report should be saved to an appropriately named file for retrieval and marking. The simulation should be executed within the Linux terminal.
