Marketing and Sales Strategy The shop's goal is to attract loyal repeat customers. Mr. Soto is hoping that these customers will be a walking billboard and the perfect, free, advertainment from word of mouth. One of the marketing strategies that will be put into place in heavy marketing on social media. In recent years, the social media platforms have dominated the advertisement world. Nearly all tattoo artists use some form of a social media platform. It's so widely used because it is free. The social media platforms that tattoo artists use most include TicTok, Instagram, and Facebook. Now that these platforms have become the staple of advertising it should expand their customer base because social media allows businesses to reach a much larger audience. In relation to Mr. Soto's Tattoo Saloon social media page, the shop will also have a webpage. This will allow clients to go online and completely customize their design that Mr. Soto has created. On top of that, customers will be able to the services that the shop will offer. This way the clients can select their individual artist who meet their needs and desires. On the Saloon's webpage, there will be the capability of allowing customers to set up a day and time that fits their schedules and budget. Clients who refer a new customer will receive a ten percent discount on their next session once the referred customer finalizes their full purchase. When a client spends more than $300, they will receive a V.I.P. black card (business card). This card allows then the opportunity to enter into monthly raffles that will consist of half off their next session, shop artwork, shop merchandise, etc. There are so many strategies a tattoo parlor can use to attract new customers. A good example would be that the shop would hold certain events throughout the year. Patrons will have the opportunity to interact with Mr. Soto and artists on a more personal level. Tattoo conventions would be another way to attract more business and new clients. Tattoo conventions are held year-round in almost every state in the county. Conventions are an opportunity for artists to display their talent. These events also allow the artists interact with many vendors who may end up sponsoring said artist. The Saloon could also offer classes on how to take care of a tattoo, an art class, and a lady's night. If the Saloon is successful, it will also give back to the community by offering money towards college tuition, a possible apprenticeship, donate to domestic violent shelters, animal shelters, and everything else that will help the surrounding community.
