Jamie Doe is an 88 year-old cis-gender woman who is brought to the Samaritan Hospital ER after paramedics were called to her residence by her daughter, Selma, who thought Jamie was having a stroke. Upon arrival at the hospital, it is determined that Jamie Doe was in fact not suffering from a stroke, but from early stages of dementia and severe dehydration. Upon examination, ER staff find bruising covering Jamie's body, and Jamie discloses to them that she has been raped by her daughter's boyfriend and was confined in a small room in the house with no access to a toilet.
