Your task is to design and build a knowledge system. You are free to use any technique we have discussed in class. You can make use of any available shell (e.g. ES Builder, prolog, LISP) or software system. The focus should be in the application of such system in terms of knowledge representation, extraction and sharing using systematic approach.Your task: Introduction and Backgroundo Describe the problem domain you want to work on. You should describe this clearly, possibly using a scenario or examples. Be clear about what inputs you expect from the user, and what outputs the system must produce. Do some background reading. See if you can find any example of someone trying to build a similar system. If you find some, describe them, say how well or poorly they works and what you learn from them. Make sure you state at least one specific goal for your system, as clearly as possible. That is, it must be possible to see if the system has failed to meet the goal. Methods and Tools. o Give details of the process you actually used to create the system. Describe the system tool you used. When necessary, give citations for the sources or research papers for these. Credit any other authors who were involved, and make sure to be clear about what is your work. Provide any results or listings. You should include discussion in explaining how knowledge are represented, extracted and shared. Evaluation Methodo Explain how you evaluated your system. Explain in detail the measurements or observations you used. Outline any practical difficulties you encountered. Resultso Give the results obtained from your evaluation. Make sure you clearly label all graphs and tables, and provide a caption for each. In some cases, it may be easier to show the results in the form of pictures. Discussiono Interpret the results for the reader. How can we understand what has happened? Was the goal reached, and to what degree? Was the outcome what you expected? What have you learned? What went well, and what went poorly? What could be done to improve the performance of the method in future? What is your conclusion? Referenceso It is important to provide appropriate references for the materials you have used.
