Your team has won the contract to plan, oversee, execute the digital transformation at the organization.  The CEO believes that the first task is to introduce a Knowledge Management System (KMS) into the organization.  As with all capital intensive I.T. projects, there needs to be research and understanding of how this project will impact the department, organization, and customers.

After writing the paper to the CEO on the Knowledge Management System (KMS), the CEO would like your team to build a demo that can be demonstrated to the staff.  Based on your understanding on what are the core functions of a basic knowledge management system, using MS Team and MS Office365 create up a working knowledge management system.

Requirements:

• Think about your audience based on the situation.  How should you KMS look to convince your audience of the value of implementing such an I.T. tool.• Using ONLY Microsoft Office 365 and MS Teams software.  UCW provides access to Microsoft Office 365.  Microsoft Teams can be downloaded at https://www.microsoft.com/en-ca/microsoft-teams/group-chat-software?ms.url=microsoftcomteams&rtc=1• Perform some research on how Microsoft Office 365 can be used as a Knowledge Management System.• This is no single right answer.  As a team, use creative thinking to create your group's KMS.• Creativity is key to coming up with solutions to make a working KMS with MS Office and MS Teams.• Demonstrate the core functionality, based on your research, of a KMS.• Think about your audience based on the situation.  How should you KMS look to convince your audience of the value of implementing such an I.T. tool?• Demonstrate in a multi-platform environment where possible- Windows, Mac, Mobile, Chromebook• The presentation will be done through Zoom.  Make sure your team understands the features and limitations of Zoom in order to facilitate the team's presentation.  Please coordinate with the instructor on what the team might need through Zoom.• Several videos have been posted in Moodle to give you some ideas of how to create a KMS using Office 365 and MS Teams.

Presentation Requirements:

• All team members must present.• The maximum length of the presentation is 20 minutes. Reserve 3 minutes for Q&A.  If you presentation runs past 20 minutes, the presentation will end and the team may lose marks for not completing the presentation.• The presentation may be recorded during the demonstration.• Presentation must include Introduction Agenda Content Thank You / Q & Ao Reference• Any slides as part of the presentation will be submitted.
