Your Team Project will be assigned to teams of four or five members. It is your responsibility to assume the role of operations management consultants who are hired to analyze and redesign an operations issue. Operation issues can usually be broken down into processes, but any given issue can be seen as a process. The idea may have been familiar to you or something you wish to learn more about; it could have been within a company or something you do every day. You must choose a real operational issue to use in the project, not one you have made up. It is not recommended to go for big companies such as Amazon, Canada Post etc. unless you are able to identify a real problem which you can solve.
