Your team received approval for the project scope. We will use Scope Statement to understand how the primary project constraints [scope, _c_l_1_gd_u_lg and cost} are linked together and help up establish the baseline for our project. The objective of this assignment is to determine how long it will take to deliver this project's scope. In other words, we're building the project's schedule. Read the following project background below and create a Gantt Chart on MS Project with the activities from in scope [scope statement} while creating your own subactivities that match. Draw out the dependencies and list the predecessors, dene; and assign resources and identify the baseline for the project. Background to the Project: The kitchen pipes are leaking all over! The wall is peeling, and the kitchen cabinets are turning grey. It is time for a renovation! You plan to shut the restaurant during the month of October, one of the slower months, {Start date of project: October 155 2023} and hope to reopen December lst in time for the busier new year season {Finish date of Project: November 30'\1. Your first step is to create the structure ofyour schedule. Please use MS Project [instructions available on your course Blackboard} Your schedule needs to have a minimum of 30 lines. 5 lines have been provided above which are the major deliverables and you can consider as summary tasks. The 24 additional lines required can be created by further breaking down the major deliverables above to su btasks and adding milestones. Be creative in your Gantt chart structure and make sure when you are breaking down each major deliverabler it follows the WBS 100% rule. 2. Your second step is to estimate the duration of the deliverables. Recall the approaches we use for estimating. _|p__r_e_a_l_i_tyy__w_e often look for similar projects that were conducted in the past and adjust the durations for the circumstances of our current project. Since you don't have the ability to rely on past projects, I will not be critiquing the estimates you make. I'm simply looking to ensure you have estimated all the work and documented the assumptions you've made. Please note, a duration of 1 day is the default in MS Project. This is not your estimate. Please use something other 1 day. 3. Your third step is to identify the predecessors. Some ofthe deliverables can't be started until others are finished. We refer to this as dependency relationships. As you build your schedule; consider the nature of the work being performed and what the required inputs could be in. If you've identified these inputs as tasks, they would be logical dependencies. Please make sure that dependencies are based on the logical relationship. 4. Your fourth step is to define and assign resources. Assigning resources helps us ensure we have clear roles and responsibilities on our project. This is critical in getting work done. Assume you have a team of 3 people. Create a resource sheet using role names, assume a reasonable hourly rate, also what other resources should be considered for this pro'ect {other than laborj. Then assign these resources to all the activities in the schedule. Please note that your resources should not have any overallocation
