Zebedee, Xanthe, Yolande and Wade are all joint tenants.

Before Zebedee moved out of the house he agreed to sell his interest in the house to his

friend, Vic, who was a successful singer. Xanthe knew Vic and disliked him. She left a

note for Yolande and Wade to tell them that she could not share a house with Vic and

so she was 'actively looking' for somebody to make a 'quick and immediate' purchase

of her share in the house. Yolande read Xanthe's note and threw it away in annoyance,

Wade never saw the note.
