Zeke has decided to join a religious group that practices the ritual of eating raw garlic with every meal (to produce a breath odor to scare away evil), and does not bathe or shower for the same reason. The group also prohibits cutting of hair, or fingernails, and endorses body piercings - especially on one's face. When he shows up for an interview to obtain a job as a dental assistant, he is told that his appearance, 4-inch fingernails, and poor personal hygiene are not acceptable. He protests that it is his right to religious expression, and threatens a charge of religious discrimination if not hired. What do you think, and why???
