Zimbardo, in his Psychology of Evil lecture said that "to be a hero, you have to learn to be a deviant." Kohen, Langdon, and Riches in "The Making of a Hero" appear to agree in its argument that the heroic character is the result of specific and unique characteristics (Heroic Imagination, Expansive Empathy, Special Training, Habitual Helpers). In a sense, both seem to paint people as evil or villains with the good and heroic being the exception. Discuss why you agree or disagree with this assessment.
