Zn2 + reacts with a biomolecule, B, in solutions at two different pH and at several different salinities (NaCl).
Determine the charge of the biomolecule and k0 "k0 is the rate constant at infinite dilution", (second order) , at the two different pH values
(assume that Zn2 + does not change the state of charge and has the same hydration regardless of pH)
The pH is adjusted with HCl
[ZnCl2] initial = 1.00 mM
pH = 3.0 or 5.0
[B] initial= 1.40 x 10 -6 M

I think it might be useful if you use the relations:
log k = log k0 + ZaZb
Where I is the ionic strength to the ions: Zn+2 , B, Cl- , H+ , Na +
