Visit a large petrol (gas) filling station to meet the manager. Discuss and analyze the inventory planning and control system used for fuel and other items in the shop, such as confectionery and lubricants. You should then obtain data to show how the system is working (for example, reorder points and quantities, use of forecasts to predict patterns of demand) and, if possible, prepare graphs showing fluctuations in inventory levels for the selected products.
