The P04_12.txt file is a text file with data about uninsured people in each state for the years 2003–2007. Use Power Query to import this data into an Excel table (not a Data Model) and sort in increasing order of Year. As you will see, this is a wide table, with four columns for every state and only five rows, and it isn’t very useful for analysis. It would be better to have a narrow, tall table with columns for Year, State, and the four uninsured numbers/percentages reported. Do whatever it takes to rearrange the data this way. Then create a pivot table where you can see any of the numbers/percentages across years for any selected state.
