Question:

Ground Water. The U.S. Geological Survey, in cooperation with the Florida Department of Environmental Protection, investigated the effects of waste disposal practices on ground water quality at five poultry farms in north-central Florida. At one site, they drilled four monitoring wells, numbered 1, 2, 3, and 4. Over a period of 9 months, water samples were collected from the last three wells and analyzed for a variety of chemicals, including potassium, chlorides, nitrates, and phosphorus. The concentrations, in milligrams per liter, are provided on the WeissStats site. For each of the four chemicals, decide whether the data provide sufficient evidence to conclude that a difference exists in mean concentration among the three wells.
