As an organic chemistry teaching assistant, I would first go over the general concepts that applied to the problem at hand. In practice, the tutees responses were sometimes surprising and I was able to correct their understanding of certain topics more effectively. During my time working for the ASTC I earned the College and Reading Learning Association’s Advanced Tutor, Level 2 International Tutor Training Program Certification.
