At a party, try to identify the purposes your friends’ behaviors serve. Do some people behave in a way to escape or avoid interactions with others? Do some people behave in a way to get attention from others? Do the attention-seeking behaviors differ if the object of the attention is male to male, male to female, or female to female? How do you account for any differences?
