Briefly interview both a high school mathematics and a high school science teacher.

Ask them which students in their classes possess the requisite skills for doing the assigned work. Then ask them to identify the students who pose the greatest behavioral challenges in their classrooms. The two lists should be similar because students who do not know how to do the work are also those who misbehave the most.
