By visiting and talking to staff at an appropriate level and with several years work experience in that environment, in both a travel agency and a retail store which makes extensive use of an EPOS (electronic point of sale) system, ascertain the effect that IT has had on their decision-making. Do the staff feel they are more aware strategically? If so, has this proved valuable?
