13–54 Power Supply Filter Design The input to a power supply filter is a full-wave rectified sine wave with f0 = 50 Hz. The filter is a first-order low pass with unity dc gain. Select the cutoff frequency of the filter so that the ac components in the filter output are all less than 1% of the dc component.
