1. 1. Go to the National Taxpayers Union website (www.ntu.org). Search for “Who Pays Income Taxes?” Study the tables showing what percentage of taxes the various income groups pay. Do you think that everyone pays their fair share? What percentage of taxes does the top 1 percent of earners pay? What about the top 5 percent? The lowest 50 percent? How do such tax rates affect incentives to become a successful entrepreneur?
