Needed this textbook for my Bachelor of Science in Accounting courses and I found a discounted price that was super cool. The book’s overall quality feels good, not all worn out or anything, and it’s pretty easy to read so far. Haven’t cracked deep into it yet but looks like the chapters are organized and examples are simple enough to get through without the headache. It’s helping me tackle homework quicker and kind of clears up some tricky concepts. Took probably around 3 days to get it and everything about it just works fine at this point. Definitely worth grabbing at that discounted price.

So I ended up using a discounted version of this managerial accounting book for my finance class after a friend suggested it since I was struggling with budgeting stuff. Chapter 7, which dives into budgeting and variance analysis, was a bit intimidating at first but honestly made a lot more sense once I got into it. The examples were kinda detailed but not overly complicated, which helped me piece together how budgets work in real business cases. Hit me with some 'aha' moments, like realizing how a variance could flag potential problems in projects or spending, things I didn’t get before. I actually used a few simplified budget techniques in my own part-time project, and it’s wild how much smoother it went. One thing though — some parts got a little wordy which slowed me down a bit. And design-wise, a few charts could look clearer, that was a bit distracting. But overall this book knocks it out of the park as a solid study tool. I’d recommend grabbing it if your class deals with those budgeting areas because it lays that stuff out pretty clearly and helps keep you outta that overwhelm that usually hits during accounting lessons.
