Honestly, didn’t expect much when I found this finance textbook through SolutionInn’s free membership—they actually knocked it out quick which saved me time. I got the book for this Finance 101 class that’s been kinda overwhelming at times. Before opening it, I was clueless especially about risk and return concepts but then Chapter 5 totally flipped that around for me. The stuff on different types of risk really clicked in a way I didn’t get just from lectures. I remember leveling up on things like portfolio diversification—makes sense now why ishsolders don’t just throw all their cash into one thing. I even found myself trying to apply it to my own little savings plan—like hey, spreading risk isn’t just a fancy term here. The explanations in that chapter are clear without being robotic and the examples felt pretty useful even beyond class. I wouldn't say it's a walk in the park; some ideas still felt a bit dry, and I guess some of the graphs are a little awkward to read without colorful visuals. Still, it’s definitely made me appreciate stuff I would have ignored before and actually made my homework easier. Great to have access to this book for free—SolutionInn's site hooked me up. Not perfect, but definitely a useful text for anyone starting out in finance and trying to wrap their head around tough concepts that seem boring at first. I’d recommend giving it a shot—especially that chapter on risk—it might surprise you like it did me.

Needed a finance book for my Cortland State University class and got this one for free which was cool. So far, the textbook seems clean and not falling apart or anything which helps cuz I’ve got a busy schedule. I’ve only started looking at the chapters, and it’s not super tricky but also not exactly the easiest read either. It’s okay for beginners I guess but some parts feel kinda dry and boring. Definitely better than nothing though and might come in handy later for classes. Overall happy it arrived quick and felt like a decent find for free, definitely usable but not perfect.
