Solid insights, but a tough read if you're not already familiar with the subject.

This book is an exceptional resource for anyone diving deep into regression modeling. It comprehensively covers everything from logistics regression to survival analysis. I was particularly impressed with the real-world examples that made complex theories more relatable. The mathematical rigor is just right, catering both to novices trying to understand the basics and to professionals looking for a deeper analysis. Plus, the book arrived quickly and was well-packaged, which was a nice touch. Highly recommended!

Frank Harrell has clearly put a lot of thought into this book, and it shows. Each chapter builds logically on the last, providing concise yet thorough explanations of regression techniques. I particularly appreciated the discussions on model assumptions and diagnostics. The clarity of the author’s writing makes this otherwise dense subject far more accessible. Got an extra discount with my subscription, which was great! An outstanding read for anyone interested in statistics.

This book serves as both a substantial theoretical guide and a practical tool for implementing regression models. I loved the sections on software applications; however, it sometimes assumes the reader has more prior knowledge than they may possess. The delivery was prompt and the book was in perfect condition. Overall, a great guide though it could benefit from more introductory content for beginners.
