Book Summary: The Purpose Of This Book Differs From The Probabilistic Methods Book. I Wrote The Probabilistic Methods Book With The Intention Of Building Probability From The Ground Up And Explaining It In Detail So That Someone Who Has Never Done Probability Would Be Able To Follow Along. This Book Is Intended To Contain Less Detail And Explanation Because I Am Writing It To Give Rough Explanations Of Fitting Models And Determining Better Models Than Others Etc. So That It Is More Appropriate For Someone Who Has The Basic Understanding Of Statistics Already. There Will Also Be A Lot Of Theoretical Topics I Will Omit From The Book That Are Important In Their Own Right However I Want To Put More Enthuses On The Actual Model Building And Applying It In R And Python. I Will Go Through Some Exploratory Data Analysis Then Move Onto Linear Regression And Then Expand It To Generalised Linear Models After That. I Also Decided To Add Some SAS, SQL And A/B Testing To The Book As Well At The End! I Am Also Planning On Writing A Separate Book For More Complicated Machine Learning Models Too.
