Whether you’re graduating this year or a few years from now, you may want to join a local alumni organization. Write an email to the head of the alumni association in the area you might live. Include specific questions about membership fees, club activities, benefits of joining, and the process for enrollment. Compare the email you receive from the association with emails your classmates receive. Is the alumni association communicating consistently across regions (if there are multiple locations), and are representatives of the organization customizing emails to each of you?
